Paddle for Life Dedicated to BCS Paddling

2023-September Paddle For Life donated $8,000 to the Catch-22 Breast Cancer Survivors Dragon Boat Team following a fundraiser in Ridgefield. The funds will support the team’s efforts to build a paddling community for survivors in Southwest Washington, where breast cancer affects one in eight women. Dragon boating, an international movement among survivors, promotes fitness and emotional healing while reducing the risk of lymphedema. Team member Tamara Greenwell expressed deep gratitude, saying the sport played a vital role in her recovery and helped to restore her spirit after cancer.
